I learned that Africa makes great wine!
Uni M often staggers home in the small hours without a word as to where she's been, and so it was last night. She rarely tells me where she's been or who she was with, saying that her little trips "help keep the magic alive in our marriage."
On this occasion though, she said she'd been at the wonderful Moroccan restaurant, Little Marrakesh in St. Albans. And she very kindly bought me the remaining third of the bottle of wine she'd had.
It's from from North Africa:
Sidi Brahim is a range of branded wines produced in the Atlas mountains, mainly in Algeria but also in Tunisia and Morocco.

What's it like? Delicious! Spicy and light but plenty of fruit. Sometimes I think she really loves me...
There's an excellent Moroccan in Windsor too. Spent many a happy evening there I have, and enjoyed their native wines and beers. It's called Al Fassia:

Looks good Alan. I see it's good for: Romantic, Special Occasion Dining. I'll tell Uni M. She might even take me next time...
