These are some of the microscopic organisms I've been unable to identify. Can anyone help?

Another of these weird organisms (see Unknown 1) with something growing/spilling from its front. Several of these creatures did this at the same time.

There are often hundreds of these in a single drop of pond water. What are they?! They are motile, small (>20 microns) and change shape, as well as "spill" something from the front. (see following photos)
