I'm playing at least 4 games of chess a day at the moment, and studying the game too, but according to my IPod, I'm getting WORSE at it.
Yes, my rating has dropped from 820 to 740. I'd like to say that's because I'm experimenting with my new knowledge and that is getting me into trouble, but the reality is that I really do seem to be getting worse at chess. Bizarre and frustrating. I'm constantly losing against the computer at settings where I was winning before. Which makes this savage win in 14 moves all the more satisfying. Maybe the tide has turned?
