Very early nature photography magazines: 1908 and 1909

2 photography magazines from the very early days of photography, both over 100 years old! 

As you can see from the detailed images, neither magazine is in particularly good condition, though the 1908 edition has fared better than the 1909 one (Part 21) 

These magazines are packed with fascinating articles and images and would be of great interest to anyone who is curious about the history of photography, especially nature photography.

 

Railway Ribaldry: W. Heath Robinson. Original 1935 First Edition, NOT a later copy!

This is the original, and highly collectable Railway Ribaldry, first edition, printed in 1935. 

This was my grandfather's. Unfortunately, the kids got at it over the years, and have scribbled in crayon on several of the cartoons.  The cover is in a mess, and is detached. Please see detailed images below.

I've tried to photograph all the pages with some scribble, damage, rips or stains on them, giving the impression that most of the book is in this state, but in fact the majority of the 96 pages are in very good condition. 

In good condition, I believe from doing a little internet research that this book would be worth around £50.

The first editions do not come up very often, so grab yourself a real bargain while you can!

Fry's chocolate Cream Mystery

I saw this advert in The Daily Telegraph from 1861 for Fry's Chocolate Cream:

But Wiki says that the first one was made in 1866.

Stand

The Grand Magazine, April 1919. Condition is not great (see detailed images below) and some pages are yellowing/brownig with age, but this is still a fascinating read. As well as the stories there are many adverts and cartoons.
