There's no time! I've had to mark students' work for the last couple of days and I had to work all day and all through the night yesterday. No sleep for 30 hours. It's a not unpleasant feeling. A bit like drinking but it's free.

The magic of automata

No electrics in the house :-( it seems to be one thing after another these days. Ah well, I have my latest project to occupy me: Paper Automata! Beautiful working models made entirely from paper. Here's a work in progress. I took this picture minutes before UniM finally lost patience and banished me from the lounge forever
